Big Third Grader Now!

Jaden's first day of school today! He is my big third grader and last night admitted that he was slightly nervous about today. Mom, he asked, "is that normal?" I remember being nervous the first day of school...but it was more about my clothes and appearance that I was nervous about...he didn't seem too concerned with that aspect of things, considering Papa Marc does his hair and Mom picks out his clothes. Jaden I wish you a year full of successes and fun! Love you, Mom

Who Wants To Play Tetherball?

I bet you didnt know I am a tetherball champ too! When I was in the 2nd grade I would school all my classmates and friends in some Tetherball. The advantage I have is I am ambidextrous, meaning I can use either hand. Cant wait till the 3rd grade starts so I can get back to ruling the court!

Our cousin made this video and we love it and wanted to share it with you. Jaden says, "its off the hook". And Jaxen is still searching for his words in the end he came up with, "I need a present for my birthday". We will celebrate Jaden's birthday tomorrow that just so happens to fall on Father's Day this year. Picnic and birthday cake at La Jolla Shores will be a great time for family and fun. Wishing all of the Father's a wonderful day tomorrow.

Whether it be a weekend or a quick bike ride on a week night (after my homework of course) we love to go to La Jolla Shores, climb on our favorite structure, make new friends and chill while Mommy & Papa Marc Q up some good eats and enjoy the sunset. After many months of up and down days and hard work Jaden earns an award from his 2nd grade teacher Ms. Evans and is acknowledged by all his peers as a creative, hard working, friendly boy who likes math and spelling. Way to go J Dawg keep up the great work!!

Check out these new sidewalk boards. We came accross them at the mall on our way to Red Robin but after 10 minutes of twisting and turning without getting anywhere..we were over it! I prefer wheels on my board, these are a racket!
